From 18 November 2025, all UK company directors and persons with significant control (PSCs) will be required to verify their identity with Companies House.

This change forms part of the UK government’s reforms to enhance corporate transparency and combat fraud.

Failure to complete verification may result in:

• Financial penalties

• Possible prosecution or criminal conviction

• Removal of the company from the Companies House register
